Hellooo~

Nyamu

Oh, Umiko, you're here. What are you doing?

Umiri

Studying for a quiz. I have one tomorrow.

Nyamu

Huh~ Sounds rough.

Umiri

It is part of being a student. It cannot be helped.

Umiri

Please do not mind me. I would like to finish this while I can.

Nyamu

Good luck~

Umiri

Here.

Umiri

Nyamu

...

Umiri

...

Nyamu

Wait... Have you made any progress at all?

Umiri

That is a coincidence.

Nyamu

But your pen has not moved this whole time.

Umiri

No. I'm just stuck on this one problem...

Nyamu

Lemme see your textbook for a sec~

Nyamu

Whoa, math. Are you bad at it, Umiko? That's kind of surprising.

Umiri

No, I'm good at math. This problem's just taking me a little longer... I mean, please don't just look at my work without asking.

Nyamu

Huh~ So this is where your school's at right now. It's pretty hard.

Umiri

What about your school, Yūtenji-san?

Nyamu

Mine~? I guess it is going okay...

Nyamu

But compared to a regular school, we get graded on assignments and reports too, not just tests.

Umiri

That is helpful for people like us, who are busy with things outside of school.

Nyamu

Seriously.

Nyamu

A lot of people at my school are doing all kinds of activities, you know? So it really helps that they make it easier for us to keep up.

Umiri

You are in the Theater Department, right? Do you have special classes?

Nyamu

Yeah. We have acting lessons, classroom stuff on how to analyze plays... And sometimes we have to go see a play and write a report on it.

Umiri

I see. It really is different from a regular high school.

Nyamu

But we still have to be graded properly, so you need actual skill in your own way~

Umiri

Every school has its difficulties.

Nyamu

Yeah, I guess that's true.

Umiri

May I have that back now...?

Nyamu

Oh, sorry!

Umiri

...

Nyamu

(Oh, now she's writing like it's nothing. So she really was just stuck on that one problem.)

Nyamu

(Maybe I should at least do some prep too...)
